Non-Discrimination & Inclusion Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Reference copy. This page reproduces, for convenience, the Non-Discrimination & Inclusion Policy that we provide in print and that the Host signs when purchasing a package. This website is a guide and brochure only and does not itself form a contract. If this page and the signed printed copy differ, the signed copy prevails.
CASK & Co. exists to make every celebration welcoming. We serve and work with people from every background, and we expect our hosts, their guests and our own team to treat one another with respect.
1. Our commitment
We do not discriminate, and we do not allow discrimination in our service, on the basis of religion, caste, community, race, ethnicity, colour, language, region, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, health condition, economic status, appearance, dress or dietary practice. This applies to enquiries, bookings, how we serve guests at an event, and how we work with our staff and partners.
2. Who this covers
- Clients and hosts who enquire or book with us
- Guests we serve at events
- Our own bartenders, staff and freelance partners
- Venues, vendors and other suppliers we work alongside
3. How we put it into practice
- Equal service: every guest at the bar is served with the same courtesy and attention.
- An inclusive menu: our zero-proof mocktails are a full part of the menu, so guests who do not drink alcohol, for any reason, are never singled out or questioned.
- Dietary and cultural needs: tell us about dietary practices, allergies or cultural customs in advance and we will plan the menu and setup around them where we can.
- Accessibility: tell us about any access needs at the venue and we will adapt the bar layout and service where we reasonably can.
- Respectful communication: we use the names and forms of address people ask us to use, and we do not make assumptions about who drinks or what a guest will order.
- Fair engagement of people: we choose staff and freelance partners on skill, reliability and conduct.
4. Limits that apply to everyone equally
A few decisions are based on law and safety, never on identity. We apply them to every guest in the same way:
- We do not serve alcohol to anyone under 23, in line with Kerala excise rules.
- We may pause or refuse service to a guest who is visibly intoxicated.
- We may refuse or stop service where there is abusive, threatening, harassing or unsafe behaviour, or where we are asked to act unlawfully.
5. Conduct we expect at events
Harassment, abuse, slurs or discriminatory behaviour towards our team, or towards other guests within our sight, are not acceptable. Our staff may stop service and, if needed, withdraw from an event where this continues. Hosts are responsible for the conduct of their guests, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
6. Raising a concern
If you feel you or a guest were treated unfairly by CASK & Co. or by any member of our team, please tell us on +91 62355 38406 or by WhatsApp. Every concern is taken seriously, looked into by our management, and answered. No one will be penalised for raising a concern in good faith.
7. Keeping us honest
We review this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page with its updated date.
